Nepal, Thailand Tourism B2B Meet in Bangkok
The Nepali Embassy in Bangkok organized a Business-to-Business (B2B) meeting on May 29 at the Amari Hotel, connecting 18 Nepali tourism companies with over 100 representatives from 63 Thai tourism firms. The event aimed to boost tourism between Nepal and Thailand. The Nepali Ambassador highlighted tourism's role in strengthening historical, religious, and cultural ties. Data presented showed a decline in Thai tourists visiting Nepal from 40,969 in 2013 to 30,243 in 2025, despite overall growth in Thai outbound tourism. Presentations showcased Nepal's diverse tourism offerings, including cultural sites, adventure activities, and wellness retreats. The embassy emphasized the ease of online visa applications.
